Eyes lit up

If only you could have seen the way her eyes lit up when she told me she cantered for the first time today. Horseback riding has been a Godsend in Ava's life. An activity whose reach goes far beyond just the physical motions involved. An activity that has brought the happiness and success she so deserves. She'd been looking forward to this day for a while and I don't think the smile left her face the whole way home. Come to think of it, I don't think it left mine either. #proudmama #happygirl
